Charlie returns to her sick mother Laura's organic chicken farm to support her. The two women share different philosophies of life and Charlie finds it difficult to deal with both her mother and the work on the farm. When her eccentric and passionately feminist grandmother Solange turns up, the three women are faced with a number of challenges.
