The Kino & Cake film club invites you to a special film club evening at City Kino Munich on Monday, January 26. The film HAMNET will be shown. The meeting point is at 5:00 p.m. directly at the cinema, followed by the joint film screening. After the film, there will be cake and an opportunity to discuss the film in a relaxed atmosphere. Participation in the film club evening is limited to a maximum of 30 people. In summer 2025, cinema audiences can expect a special highlight: on July 25, 2025 at 6 p.m., Richard Wagner's opera “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” will be brought live to the big screen in a new production by Matthias Davids and under the musical direction of Daniele Gatti. The cinema broadcast will take place with a two-hour delay to the performance in the Festspielhaus and will include two half-hour breaks, during which a cinema-exclusive intermission program (approx. 10 minutes each) will be broadcast. A celebration for all Wagner lovers - directly at the cinema, without a waiting list.
