In summer 2025, cinema audiences can expect a special highlight: on July 25, 2025 at 6 p.m., Richard Wagner's opera “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” will be brought live to the big screen in a new production by Matthias Davids and under the musical direction of Daniele Gatti. The cinema broadcast will take place with a two-hour delay to the performance in the Festspielhaus and will include two half-hour breaks, during which a cinema-exclusive intermission program (approx. 10 minutes each) will be broadcast. A celebration for all Wagner lovers - directly at the cinema, without a waiting list.

On Sunday, you can experience the master's music live at our movie theater: Munich cult band **The Blissful Bob** have been delighting Bob Dylan fans for years with their very own interpretations of the master's songs. The Berlinale and X Verleih, in cooperation with Yorck City Cinemas, present the broadcast of the opening gala and the opening film of the 75th Berlinale. 
The world premiere of Tom Tykwer's latest feature film DAS LICHT will open the 75th Berlin International Film Festival on February 13, 2025. The German-French production will be presented as a Berlinale Special Gala at the Berlinale Palast.
