FROM HILDE WITH LOVE is the eighth joint work by director Andreas Dresen and screenwriter Laila Stieler. The film is based on the true story of Hilde and Hans Coppi, who were executed in Berlin-Plötzensee. The premiere in Munich will take place in the presence of the actors Liv Lisa Fries and Lisa Wagner as well as the screenwriter Laila Stieler.

About

Berlin 1942: It is the most beautiful summer for Hilde and Hans Coppi despite the omnipresent danger of the Nazi regime. They are involved in a resistance circle which would later be known as the “Red Orchestra”. As summer comes to an end all of them are arrested - including Hilde, who is eight months pregnant at the time. In prison, she develops a strength that no one would have believed her capable of.
