When the twin brothers Frederik and Gerrit Braun realized their lifelong dream in 2000, they had no idea what they would create: the "Miniatur Wunderland" not only developed into the largest model railroad in the world, but with 1.4 million visitors a year, it also became one of the largest public attractions in Europe. With previously unpublished archive material and elaborate animations that show the inventors wandering through their own Miniatur Wunderland, the film takes the movie audience on a fantastic journey.
