Katyn
85 years ago, on April 3, 1940 and in the weeks that followed, thousands of Polish officers, intellectuals and civil servants were murdered by the Soviet secret police NKVD in the forests near Katyn and other locations. For decades, this crime was denied by the Soviet Union and only officially recognized as Soviet responsibility in 1990. KATYN tells of decades of repression, reinterpretation and the struggle of the relatives for the truth.
