16-year-old Tobias is spending the summer with his grandparents in the countryside. On his wanderings through the village, he meets sex worker Jonas, who is waiting for clients next to the public toilet, and he gets to know the young painter Aron. A cautious relationship develops between Tobias and Aron. But then the teenager falls back into old habits: He blames himself for things that are supposedly going wrong and seeks solace in the pain he inflicts on himself.
